You got some great deals! I especially like the free pasta and cheap chocolate (I assume they were the choc chips?). Also, I'm wondering about two things: 1st did your $1 off 2 item really double? I tried using one once and it didn't actually double (don't know why). And did you actually get your overage or did the register just double/triple your coupon up to the price of the item? I might have to check out the Kmart after all...!

Yes - my $1 off 2 item did double.

Also - the coupons did double (even those that would give overage). If you were to only buy the free items, however, I imagine that they would give them to you for free with no overage.

I definitely think you should check out K-Mart. I have never shopped there before for groceries, but with the double/triple coupons.... I'm probably heading back there tomorrow :-)

Yay! I did the double coupon thing there when they had it 2 weeks ago, but most of the items I wanted were already gone :( I'll have to give it a try w/ the triples though. Thanks for the inspiration!
